Nose Filling

Nose Filling

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure in which the nose is filled with fluid. This procedure usually involves the injection of skin fillers. Skin fillers are products that can be injected into different parts of the face to give volume, such as hyaluronic acid fillers. The most commonly injected facial regions include the lips, nasolabial folds and cheeks.

How is Nose Filling Performed?

The procedure consists of filling the nose tissue, usually with an anesthetic cream applied for 20-30 minutes, then injecting it into key areas designated by the surgeon and patient, thus providing aesthetic improvement. The injection usually takes 5-10 minutes and is performed in fully hygienic clinical settings.

What Are The Advantages of Nose Filling?

Rhinoplasty offers many advantages to patients. Firstly, it is a good option for many patients who do not want to have surgery or are considering surgery but have not yet made a decision. Secondly, retouching is very easy to perform, as a simple injection is enough to add a small amount of filler to a given region. With these features, the nose can be shaped until the desired result is achieved by injections. The third advantage is that the filling of the nose is a much more economical treatment than surgical techniques.

What Are The Disadvantages of Nose Filling?

The nose filling has two main drawbacks: first, the result is not permanent. Effect times are different depending on the type of filling materials. The result can take up to one to two years, depending on the material and injection technique. Second, the principal limitation of the technique is that only volume can be added. If there is a reduction of the nose, an advanced bump and extreme slant, a filling injection alone is not enough. For this reason, the nosee filling may not be suitable for all situations, as some defects of the nose may not be corrected with this method.

However, the nose filling can correct many problems that can be done with surgery. It is a versatile technique and can be applied to different types of nose anatomies and skin types. It is a good alternative for patients who do not want to have surgery, where surgery can be extremely risky for medical or other reasons, or who do not have enough time for the recovery time required by surgery.
